Illustration made for Poetry International 2015.
Me and 16 other Beeldkanon illustrators were asked to paint a chalk illustration on the pavement at one of the 17 selected gallery’s that were part of the Art Language Tour. My illustration was done in front of Gallery Cokkie Snoei, and is a reference to the work of Frohawk Two Feathers. His work retraces or re-imagines colonial history from the perspective of the black man instead of the white man.
